Everyone seems to wnat more. But more of what? Don’t we all crave simplicity? That subtle, quiet crave might just be a call to eliminate things so we can get to the heart of what really matters…and bring us to a place where the things in our life leave us feeling fulfilled instead of drained…a place of new beginnings.

Don’t mistake a gift for a possession. If God gave us the gifts of grace and peace, of not having to worry about ourselves, how can we live differently in a world of self-centerdness and a hectic season of accumulation? What if gift-giving was re-invented? What if our true treasures were re-visited? What if Jesus were re-gifted?

Doesn’t it seem, at times, like life would have less drama and be less difficult if we didn’t have to deal with people? Jesus didn’t live in solitude, and we don’t believe any of us were meant to live in solitude either. Friendships have purpose…they strengthen you, they make you happier…and make life more beautiful.
